Azerbaijani scientists living abroad were awarded medals

The Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, Fuad Muradov presented the medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan "For service in Diaspora activity" to the Azerbaijani scientists living abroad, Murad Omarov and Sabina Iskenderova.

The Committee Chairman highly appreciated the contributions of our compatriots to the development of our diaspora and the promotion of our country abroad, wished them success in their future activities.

Honored scientist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor Murad Omarov is the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Ukraine Friendship Society, and a Vice President of Kharkov National University of Radioelectronics.

Sabina Iskenderova is the founder of Alberta Azerbaijani Cultural Society (ALACS) operating in Alberta, Canada.

The both of diaspora activists expressed their gratitude to the President Ilham Aliyev and the state of Azerbaijan. They stated that they would spare no effort for the development of the Azerbaijani nation.
