Azerbaijan’s Tricolour Flag Raised in Niagara Falls

The National Flag of Azerbaijan was raised in the city of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, on the occasion of May 28 – Independence Day.
The event, organized by the Canada Azerbaijan House, was attended by compatriots living in Toronto, Hamilton, Cambridge, and surrounding areas.
Lalin Hasanova, Head of the Azerbaijan House, described the raising of the Azerbaijani flag in Niagara Falls as a source of great pride. She expressed her gratitude for the support provided to this initiative by the Mayor of Niagara Falls Jim Diodati, as well as City Council members Mona Patel and Ruth Ann Nieuwesteeg.
Afterwards, Azerbaijan’s tricolour flag was ceremonially raised.
Participants expressed their delight at coming together for such a meaningful occasion. They emphasized that celebrating Azerbaijan’s Independence Day abroad is of great importance for promoting national values and strengthening solidarity among compatriots.
