The Sacred Memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Honored in Ankara

Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Rashad Aslanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Türkiye, visited in Ankara the monument to Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people and prominent statesman, as well as Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye and great statesman.

At Anıtkabir, the memory of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was respectfully honored, and a wreath was laid at his tomb. The Chairman of the Committee signed the visitors’ book at Anıtkabir, expressing his thoughts and highlighting Atatürk’s invaluable services to the Turkish nation.

They then visited the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev. A bouquet of flowers was laid at the monument, and the memory of the great leader was commemorated with deep respect and gratitude. During the visit, Heydar Aliyev’s unparalleled contributions as the founder of modern and independent Azerbaijan to strengthening Azerbaijani statehood, developing brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, and enhancing the country’s international standing were respectfully recalled, along with his rich political legacy and historic services to the Azerbaijani people.
