Ibrahim Safarli, head of the Hungary Azerbaijan House, and Sevda Badaliouri, director of the "Khari Bulbul" House of Azerbaijani Culture in Berlin met with the participants of the 6th Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth, dedicated to the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty”.

At the meeting, diaspora leaders provided detailed information about the activities of the Azerbaijan Houses, the work they have implemented to promote Azerbaijani culture and its truths in the countries where they live, the challenges they have faced, and the successes they have achieved. The significant role of Azerbaijan Houses was highlighted in promoting the homeland and our people abroad, raising awareness, and shaping a positive image of the country. It was also noted that weekend schools have been opened in Azerbaijan Houses operating in different countries around the world. These schools mainly offer lessons in the Azerbaijani language, literature, history and culture, along with classes in dance, music, chess and other subjects related to national heritage.

Sincere and inspiring discussions were held with the youth, and they were encouraged to preserve their national identity abroad and to become more actively involved in diaspora activities. The guests also emphasized that the Summer Camps of Diaspora Youth play an important role in fostering a sense of national spirit among Azerbaijani youth abroad and in strengthening the global Azerbaijani diaspora network.

Afterwards, world-renowned photographer Reza Deghati stated that every Azerbaijanis could convey Azerbaijan’s voice to the world in the country where they live. He emphasized that it was possible to promote our culture and history through photography, video, and social media, highlighting the importance of active participation by diaspora youth in this work.

The meeting concluded with a mutual exchange of views and discussion of prospects for future cooperation.
