The chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora met the participants of the international conference “Heritage of Qizilbash in Azerbaijan: In the Footsteps of History”.

It was noted that this conference brought the scientists of different countries and specialists, working in global companies, together for a deeper study of the history of the Turkic peoples.

The guests were informed about President Ilham Aliyev's recommendations in the direction of the research of the real history of Azerbaijan, promotion of our history among the Azerbaijanis of the world, as well as among the friends of Azerbaijan. It has been mentioned that the Committee regularly organizes a series of internationally significant events in accordance with these recommendations.

The participants of the conference assessed holding of such an international scientific conference with the support of the Committee as an historical event. It was pointed out that this event would create a new perspective on the history of the entire Turkic world, and would give further impetus to the researches on the unexplored pages of history, and strengthen the ties of the Qilzbash people with their historical homeland, Azerbaijan.

It was noted that the topics debated at the international conference "The heritage of Qizilbash in Azerbaijan: in the footsteps of history" can attract the attention of world scientists and give rise to new interesting discussions. It has been told that the committee will continue the steps taken in the direction of investigating the heritage of Qilzbash, and will do systematic work to bring the scientists together again.

Deputy Chairman of Qizilbash Global Heritage Organization, Arshi Qizilbash, has told that the participants of the conference were very happy to come to Azerbaijan, the historical homeland of our countrymen of the Qizilbash origin.

The participants of the conference thanked the committee for establishing the Qizilbash Global Heritage Organization three years ago, shedding light on the topic of Qizilbash.  A visit to Shusha as part of the conference program, and having the opportunity of spreading the truths of Azerbaijan to the world by reciting the organization's statement there, was highly estimated.

It should be noted that the representatives of the Qizilbash Global Heritage Organization for Pakistan, Turkiye, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore and Afghanistan, parliamentarians, researchers of the Qizilbash heritage from Azerbaijan and Turkiye, representatives of various state institutions, non-governmental and international organizations took part in the conference.
