Fuad Muradov, the Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, visited the Khari-Bulbul Azerbaijani Culture House, operating in Germany.

Committee chairman got closely acquainted with the activities of the Culture House, participated in the lesson process at weekend school. He talked to the teacher and students, held a discussion about the teaching process.

The chairman highly appreciated the weekend school, more than 100 students studying. He reminded that learning of their native language is one of President Ilham Aliyev’s important recommendations to the Azerbaijani diaspora living abroad.

Sevda Badaliouri, head of the Khari-Bulbul Azerbaijani Culture House stated that “Recently, the number of the Azerbaijani children, studying in the Culture House has increased, results achieved are pleasing. Various clubs operate alongside the weekend school in the Culture House. In the future, we intend to turn this place into an Azerbaijani school, and thereby creating an opportunity for Azerbaijani children to obtain a high school certificate”.

Nasimi Aghayev, ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany attended at the meeting.

It should be noted that today 30 Azerbaijani Houses and over 100 Azerbaijani weekend schools operate in various countries.
