Pakistani journalist Malik Ayub Sumbal visited the State Committee

Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, met with Pakistani journalist, geopolitical analyst Malik Ayub Sumbal.

The Committee chairman warmly welcomed the guest, and highly appreciated the journalist's activity in informing the international community and countering misinformation about Azerbaijan. The chairman recalled that Azerbaijan’s lands were liberated from occupation under the leadership and determination of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, emphasized informing guests, especially foreign visitors, about the consequences of Armenian vandalism against Azerbaijan's religious and cultural monuments is a significant step in bringing Azerbaijani truths to the world.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Malik Ayub Sumbal spoke about his visit to Karabakh, and stated that it is gratifying to see large-scale restoration and reconstruction work being carried out in the liberated territories. During the meeting, he emphasized that he would continue his efforts on wider coverage of Azerbaijan’s rightful voice in foreign media, disseminating objective information about our country, and exposing Armenia’s provocations.

It should be noted that Malik Ayub Sumbal is the author of the book “Tovuz to Karabakh”. The book discusses the last 30 years of Azerbaijan’s history and analyzes the current geopolitical situation in the South Caucasus.  The publication is one of the first books written on this topic after the 44-day Second Karabakh War.
