The film “Ali and Nino” was screened at the University of Sheffield of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the occasion of the Day of Azerbaijani Youth. The event was organized with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan and at the initiative of the university's Azerbaijani Student Society. Both Azerbaijani and foreign students participated in the event.

Turana Abdullayeva, Head of the Society, stated that the main aim of screening the film was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage, history, and multicultural values. She emphasized that such events both strengthen cultural awareness among youth, and create opportunities to understand and appreciate different cultures.

The initiative of the Azerbaijani Student Society is the great importance in terms of preserving and promoting national and cultural values, as well as fostering intercultural dialogue. At the same time, networking among young people enables them to exchange ideas, share experiences, and for future cooperation.

It should be noted that more than 10 Azerbaijani Student Societies operate at the universities of the United Kingdom.
