Supported by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Diaspora Boxing League (DBL), operating in Germany, represented our country at the amateur boxing competition held in Zeitz.

Competing against teams from 12 German cities, the Diaspora Boxing League participated under the guidance of head coach Shamil Karimov.

At the tournament, DBL boxers Altay Gurbanov (69 kg), Ramal Abdullayev (63.5 kg), Staiko Stainov (72 kg), Mazer Yusif (66 kg), and Hoiman Yevgeni (69 kg) defeated their opponents in their respective weight categories and won in their respective weight categories.

Yashar Niftaliyev, head of the Diaspora Boxing League, congratulated the boxers on their victory, noting that this achievement was dedicated to the Restoration of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day.
