On September 27 – Remembrance Day, the staff members of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan and representatives of diaspora organizations who are on a visit to our country, visited the Victory Park, one of the enduring symbols of the Patriotic War.

During the visit, they honoured the memory of the martyrs who gave their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and laid flowers at the memorial monument.

It should be noted that today Azerbaijani diaspora organizations operating in different countries hold numerous events dedicated to the Remembrance Day, and paying tribute to the memory of our martyrs with deep respect. Our compatriots also provide the public in their host countries with detailed information about the significance of Remembrance Day. Commemorative corners are being set up at Azerbaijan Houses located in 21 countries worldwide, where remembrance ceremonies and events are being organized.
