Azerbaijan was successfully represented at the “Nanjing Youth Cultural Exchange Event,” an international cultural festival held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province of the People’s Republic of China.

Two stands were set up with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the Embassy of Azerbaijan to China. Our country’s rich history, culture, and national heritage were showcased. The stands featured samples of national clothing, Azerbaijani carpets, tea culture, educational posters and materials, postcards depicting our historical monuments, Khari Bulbul and other themed keychains, as well as pomegranate-themed souvenirs. Visitors were also given informational booklets about our country, Azerbaijani flags, and other commemorative gifts.

Nilgun Guluzade, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) student at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications and an active representative of Azerbaijan at various cultural events, together with other Azerbaijani students, delivered presentations about Azerbaijan at the festival. They provided Chinese visitors and other foreigners with extensive information about our history and cultural heritage.

As part of the event, educational quizzes related to our country were organized, and the winners were awarded. The stands, which attracted the interest of hundreds of visitors, were featured on local and national television channels.

The organizers of the festival and representatives of other countries noted that the Azerbaijani stands were among the most successful and vibrant presentations of the event. They expressed their desire for Azerbaijan to participate actively in such projects in the future.
