TAn event entitled "Mother language- sweet language" was held in Sweden

With the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the Coordination Council of Netherlands-Belgium Azerbaijanis, as well as the organization of the “Ana Vatan” European Azerbaijani Women's Union operating in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a video conference was held on the topic "Khojaly - Our Blood Memory!".
Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Netherlands Fikrat Akhundov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Elshad Aliyev, member of the Netherlands Parliament, member of the DENK Party Tunahan Kuzu, MPs Sahib Aliyev and Ramin Mammadov, chairman of the Public Union "Promotion of the Khojaly Genocide" Shamil Alakbarli, Member of the Security and Foreign Policy Council under the President of Turkey, Chairwoman of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Friendship, Cooperation and Solidarity Foundation, Professor Aygun Attar, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Havva Mammadova, former Chief Physician of Aghdam Central District Hospital Taryel Eyvazov, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, wife of the Karabakh martyr Gulustan Aliyeva, head of the Diaspora Information Center Toghrul Allahverdiyev, researcher-expert on the Diaspora Elnur Elturk and others participated at the videoconference attended by live witnesses of the Khojaly genocide Murvat Mammadov, Durdana Aghayeva, Samira Huseynova, Shahin Azimov and Ayna Novruzova.
The event began with a minute of silence in memory of the Khojaly martyrs. A video on the Khojaly genocide was demonstrated after the moderator of the video conference, Khatira Sardargizi, gave information about the events in Khojaly on the night of February 25-26, 1992.
Speaking at the event, Mayisa Aghamirzayeva said that like all diaspora organizations abroad, diaspora organizations in the Netherlands annually organize commemorative ceremonies, conferences, international organizations in order to prevent the forgetting the tragedies committed the Armenian executioners, including the Khojaly genocide.

Then Ambassador Fikrat Akhundov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee Elshad Aliyev, MP Sahib Aliyev, Dutch MP Tunahan Kuzu, Professor Aygun Attar, Khojaly resident Durdana Aghayeva, doctor Tariyel Eyvazov and others spoke at the video conference.
It was noted that the Khojaly genocide is a tragedy of justice, national and religious affiliation, and to prevent such crimes from happening again, “Justice for Khojaly” must be demanded, parliaments of different countries must give a legal and political assessment to the genocide, and Armenian executioners must be punished by an international military tribunal.
The video conference was broadcast live on Facebook.
