Ilaha Karimova, Coordinator of the Council of Poland Azerbaijanis for Lower Silesia, lecturer at the University of Wroclaw, Doctor of Humanities, delivered a lecture in an online format organized by the Debate Center of the Jagiellonian Foundation.
After the lecture on "Azerbaijan in the international arena", the Azerbaijani scientist was the guest of an hour-long interview. During the interview, Ilaha Karimova spoke about the policy and model of multiculturalism in Azerbaijan, national minorities and ethnic groups living in our country. Our compatriot, who drew attention to the fact that Armenians were resettled in Azerbaijan during the period of Tsarist Russia, gave detailed information about the causes of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Karabakh realities, four UN Security Council resolutions, relevant documents of the European Union and the European Parliament on Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, Azerbaijan's just and fair position on Karabakh.
It was noted that peaceful, multicultural, tolerant Azerbaijan has established friendly and fraternal relations with all countries except Armenia. It was noted that Azerbaijan had won a brilliant victory in the 44-day war. It was noted that Armenians, who committed horrible crimes against humanity such as the Khojaly genocide, committed environmental terror and vandalism acts while leaving the occupied regions of Kalbajar, Lachin and Aghdam in Azerbaijan.
