A meeting of the Azerbaijani community operating in Australia was held in Sydney, Australia.
The event, organized by the Australia-Azerbaijan Association (AAA) and the Democratic Turkish Union of South Azerbaijan expressed deep concern over Armenia's large-scale attack on Azerbaijan along entire fronts, causing heavy casualties among the military and civilians. A minute of silence was observed in memory of the victims.
Speaking at the meeting, President of the Australia-Azerbaijan Association Mikayil Oyta, Sara Azersun, Shamsaddin Nejadi and Javad Davudi said that the hearts of all our compatriots following the events from abroad are beating together with Azerbaijan. The participants of the meeting reiterated their support for the Azerbaijani state, wished our army to completely liberate Nagorno-Karabakh from occupation, to give our people the joy of a great victory and to see the day when the Azerbaijani flag was hoisted in all towns and villages in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
