A protest against Armenia's latest military provocation and a rally in support of the Azerbaijani state was held in Igdir, Turkey.
The joint event organized by the Igdir-Azerbaijan Language, History and Culture Union Survival and Support Association and the Igdir Azerbaijani House Association was held in front of the Monument and Museum of Martyr Turks killed by Armenians.
Representatives of civil society participated in the event under the slogan "Azerbaijan is not alone". Chairman of the Igdir-Azerbaijan Language, History and Culture Union Survival and Support Association Ziya Zakir Ajar and Chairman of the Igdir Azerbaijani House Association Sardar Unsal spoke at the event.
Reminding that Armenia is a terrorist state, the speakers said that the Turkey state and people stand by Azerbaijan, and the civil society of Igdir came together to send a message that Azerbaijan is not alone. "Armenia is violating the law, attacking the civilian population and often violating the ceasefire. The OSCE Minsk Group is unable to solve the problem. Karabakh is the land of Azerbaijan and will remain so. We stand by Azerbaijan and will continue to stand by. Azerbaijan gives the necessary response to Armenian provocations. We condemn the aggressor Armenia. "
The participants expressed their support for this statement and thanked the President of Turkey Rejep Tayyip Erdogan for not leaving Azerbaijan alone.
