A video conference was held with Azerbaijanis living in France. The event was attended by representatives of diaspora organizations operating in France, diaspora activists and officials of the Azerbaijani Embassy to France.
Welcoming the conference participants, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov praised the activities of members of the diaspora in France during the pandemic and their mass rallies during the July provocations of Armenia. He noted that the establishment of the Coordination Councils, including the Coordination Council of France Azerbaijanis, has brought self-discipline and dynamism to the diaspora movement.
Then, a video reflecting the activities of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora was demonstrated.
Toghrul Zeynalov, coordinator of the Coordination Council of France Azerbaijanis, head of the “Karabakh” School and the Azerbaijan-France Cultural Association, reported on the activities of the Council and the “Karabakh” Azerbaijani School opened at the initiative of First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva in Nantes, France.
The participants of the meeting discussed the work done and expressed their suggestions and opinions on future plans and new projects.
The chairman of the committee praised the work of Toghrul Zeynalov as a coordinator and awarded him with a message of thanks.
Gunel Safarova and Mehriban Ovchuyeva were elected new coordinators of the Coordination Council of France Azerbaijanis at the suggestion of the participants of the video conference.
