35 students studying at the "Logic and Mathematics" course of the Integration Center of Georgian Azerbaijanis in Georgia (ICGA) have been admitted to the country's universities.
According to the 1 + 4 program for national minorities in the country, Azerbaijani youth are admitted to Georgian universities only by taking exams in logic and mathematics.
Last year, 16 students of ICGA became students within the program.
The leadership of ICGA congratulated the youth and their teacher Musa Omarov on their success in education.
It should be noted that, various training courses are being held at ICGA with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora Support within the project "Youth is our future - education is the future of the nation."
It should be noted that, in April 2019, with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, the opening ceremony of ICGA was held in Marneuli district.
The purpose of opening the center is to strengthen the existing relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia in the fields of science, education, culture and sports, the integration of local Azerbaijanis into civil society. Azerbaijani, Georgian and English languages, history of Azerbaijan and Georgia are taught, number of other courses and clubs operates, and implements various projects were held in the center.
The leadership and staff of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora congratulate the Azerbaijani youth and their parents, as well as the staff of ICGA, and wish them greater success in their future endeavors.
