The Illinois Azerbaijan Charity Society has been established in the United States

A new organization has joined the ranks of Azerbaijani diaspora organizations operating in the United States. The Illinois Azerbaijan Charitable Society, established in Illinois, has been officially registered under US law. The society was established at the initiative of our compatriot Teymur Mehmandarov, who has lived in the United States for many years. With this step, he united our compatriots living in Illinois around one community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the head of the society, who created the "Initiative" group on the social network, took measures to unite the Azerbaijani community.
On July 4, about 50 members of the community celebrated the Independence Day of the USA at West Park Des Plaines.
It should be noted that, according to local regulations, up to 50 people are allowed to gather in Des Plaines during a pandemic.
