Azerbaijani violinist won first place in the contest in New York

Osman Mustafazade, a first-year student of the Baku Music Academy (BMA), won the “Golden Classical Music Award” at the Carnegie Hall in New York.
The participation of our artist in the competition was made possible by the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora. The contest was attended by 37 musicians from around the world. Our compatriot, who performed at the Gala consert on magnificent Carnegie stage, also impressed the audience with his performance.
It should be noted that, Osman Mustafazade, who studied in the violin class of the People's Artist, Professor Zahra Guliyeva at the BMA, has already won the title of winner in several international competitions and has presented complex and interesting repertoire with the symphonic orchestra. He won 1st place at “Grand Prize Virtuoso” International Competition in Vienna (2015), 1st place at XII Republican Competition "Rodniki Dushi" (2016) ), won 3rd place at V International “Future Stars” contest (2016) organized by Azerbaijan and Georgia.
