An event titled "East Tyrol meets with Azerbaijan" dedicated to the tourism potential of our country was held at the Azerbaijan Culture Center in Vienna.
The event was attended by Federal Minister for Transport, Innovation and Technology Andreas Reichardt, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Austria Galib Israfilov, Chairman of the Austrian Parliament's Tourism Commission Gerald Hauser, parliamentarians, art figures and the representatives of local community.
Director of the Azerbaijan Culture Center Leyla Gasimova, Chairman of the State Committee Fuad Muradov, Ambassador Galib Israfilov and Gerald Hauser delivered a speech at the event. The speakers emphasized the importance of joint cultural events and stressed the great potential of cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism and expressed confidence that these opportunities would be widely used in the future.
"The Quqqenberger Sisters" music group of the Eastern Tyrol region of Austria, Azerbaijani musicians Jala Rasulova (piano) and Farid Feyzullayev (violin) performed the works of Azerbaijani and European composers.
The event featured paintings and sculptures by Austrian art figures Harald Weisskopf, Otmar Trost and Peter-Paul Bundshuh, and samples of cuisine of both countries were presented.
