At the initiative of the Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan Fuad Muradov, a group of Committee members, representatives of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora and participants of the “Azerbaijan Diaspora Volunteers” Program visited Jocug Marjanli village of Jabrayil district.
The delegation of the State Committee also visited the memorial monument in honor of the April martyrs in Horadiz and laid flowers at the monument in the framework of their visit to Jojug Marjanli.
Director of Jojug Marjanli village’s secondary school of Jabrail district named after Novruz Aslanov Zamin Haziyev informed the delegation about the school.
Bakhtiyar Rahimov, a member of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, coordinator on the volunteers said in his speech that thanks to the care and attention of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva our country is improving day by day.
The guests presented books to the library of Jojug Marjanli village’s secondary school on behalf of the State Committee. During the visit, representatives of the State Committee and Diaspora Volunteers got acquainted with Jojug Marjanli village and its history. The guests visited the mosque and went for a walk in the “The Return” Park.
