A board game festival was held in Nur- Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan (APK)at the House of Friendship. The festival was attended by representatives of ethnocultural associations, public figures, local residents and guests of the city.
Azerbaijan was represented at the event by the “Khazar” Azerbaijan Ethnocultural Center. Center staff demonstrated their skills in national table games. “Khazar”AEC honored with gratitude due to the humanist ideas, great contribution to the strengthening of friendship and interethnic unity. The deputy-chairman of the Assembly Janseit Tuymebayev presented the gratitude certificate to the head of the center Vidadi Aghayev.
According to the organizers, the main purpose of such festivals is to join the cultural traditions of ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan, popularize table games of the peoples and promote healthy lifestyles in the youth.
