A new Diaspora organization was established in Maine

A new Azerbaijani society has been set up in the US state of Maine. On July 18, the new diaspora organization was registered and its activity has been officially granted.
Note that our compatriot Tarlan Ahmadov proposed the idea of creating this society. The charter of the Society was adopted at its founding meeting held on July 10 with his initiative and organization. According to the decision, Tarlan Ahmadov was elected chairman of the Azerbaijani society, Ulduz Badalova-deputy chairman, Nazrin Mikayilova-Dixon secretary, and Tural Nadirli - treasurer.
T.Ahmadov said that the establishment of Azerbaijani society has become a necessity. The increase in the number of our compatriots here, and the management of national cultural events from a united center demanded it. Let's note that the accommodation of our compatriots in this state started in the early 90's. At present, there are about 80 Azerbaijanis living in the state, including our compatriots from southern Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani families preserve their traditions and culture, propagandize among representatives of other nations, celebrate all national and state holidays together.
Our compatriots assist to the integration of the new Azerbaijani families to the society Maine.
