For the first time a memorandum was signed via mobile signature in Azerbaijan

Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the State Committee on Work with the Diaspora and the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. The Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two state agencies was online for the first time in Azerbaijan via mobile signature.
Fuad Muradov, chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan welcomed the participants before the signing ceremony. He noted that the signed memorandum has great importance in strengthening relations with Azerbaijanis living abroad and promoting our country: “According to the order of Mr. President, with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, consistent work is done with the Azerbaijanis living abroad. Recently another Azerbaijani language school "Karabakh" was opened at the initiative of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva with the support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Azerbaijani businessmen living abroad also participate in this work. The signing of the Memorandum, issuing electronic and mobile signature covers stimulation of entrepreneurship activity of our compatriots living abroad and their engagement to entrepreneurship activity in the Republic of Azerbaijan, combining efforts to promote “Made in Azerbaijan” brand abroad.
Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of the Republic of Azerbaijan, said that a new page is opened by issuing an electronic signature in the forming of Azerbaijani diaspora carried out by the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
Following the speeches, online Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication via ASAN signature. All process is carried out electronically through smart equipment at the signing ceremony. Nijat Asadli, Manager of the Digital Trade Hub, operator of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication presented the mobile residency of Azerbaijan to Samir Khalilov, a diaspora representative living and working abroad. Nacat Asadli also briefed the event participants about the main importance, advantages and opportunities of electronic and mobile residency.
