The Roma Forum of Azerbaijani youth was held

On May 18, the Roma Forum of Azerbaijani youth studying in Europe was held. Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov, deputy chairman Faig Guliyev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Italy Mammad Ahmadzade, head of the international cooperation department of the Ministry of Education Nijat Mammadli, deputy head of the employment policy and demographic department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection Rana Abdullayeva, about 200 students attended the meeting.

The forum was opened by the speech of the the chairman of the Azerbaijan-Italy Youth Association (AIYA) Farid Abbasov. Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Italy Mammad Ahmadzadeh spoke about bilateral relations between the two countries, mutual cooperation in education, role of Azerbaijanis studying in Italy in interstate relations.

Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov gave detailed information on the diaspora activities of Azerbaijani students studying in Europe, stressed the role of youth in the formation of diaspora, exchanges in the field of education, and the increasing number of Azerbaijani students in different Italian universities. He noted that the role of our youth in the achievement and protection of the state independence of Azerbaijan is great. So it is important that our young people get qualitative education.

Head of international cooperation department of Ministry of Education Nijat Mammadli spoke about recognition of diplomas of students studying in Europe and opportunities of work with subordinated organizations under the Ministry. He noted that more than 3,500 Azerbaijanis studied abroad on the basis of the state program, and every Azerbaijani youth studying in Europe is valuable for our country.

Deputy head of the employment policy and demographic department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection Rena Abdullayeva informed participants about potential job opportunities in Azerbaijan for educated and specialized staff in Europe.
State officials listened carefully to the problems faced by youth in Europe and gave detailed answers to their questions.
