“Dunyo Boylab” TV channel of Uzbekistan broadcasted a program called "Caucasian Pearl - Azerbaijan" on April 14. The program presented by Gulsara Soathonova, a well-known Uzbek journalist, talked about Ganja, Shaki and Naftalan cities of Azerbaijan.
The journalist presented Ganja as an ancient and second largest city of Azerbaijan and Nizami Ganjavi's homeland. She provided detailed information on the history, sights, tourism opportunities of the city. Soathonova spoke about the "Upper Caravanserai" built in XVII century in Shaki, unique architectural monument Shaki Khan Palace, Shaki silk and Shaki Halva. The reportage also talked about the recreation, tourism and resort centers in Naftalan, as well as the medical importance of Naftalan oil, which is used in sanatorias.
It should be noted that, every year a mediatour of Uzbek journalists to our country is organized at the initiative of the Azerbaijani Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev in Uzbekistan since 2016.
