The cooperation perspectives with TIKA were discussed

A meeting was held between the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora and delegation of Coordination Office of the Baku Program of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) at the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan on April 9. During the meeting the sides discussed cooperation directions for the support to Azerbaijani diaspora. Determining of concrete fields for cooperation between the organizations and signing of the Memorandum has been agreed in the meeting.
It was decided that further relations would be continued at the level of working groups. İt should be noted that, TIKA was established in 1992 under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey in order to provide foreign aid. It has been subjected to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Turkey since 1999. TIKA has 50 Cooperation Offices in 48 countries around the world. It cooperates with different development centers in about 100 countries around the world on related fields. Coordination Office of Baku Program of TIKA has operated in the Republic of Azerbaijan since 1994.
