Jeyhun Hajibeyli's heirs who came to Azerbaijan within the framework of the series of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora have held several meetings in Baku. Jeyhun Hajibeyli’s daughter in law Pascal Hajibeyli Bushe and grandson Benjamin Hajibayli firstly visited the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev, genius composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov and Niyazi in the Alley of Honor and later they visited the Alley of Martyrs. Flowers were laid on the graves of heroes, who died in the fight for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and"Eternal Flame" monument was commemorated.
After visiting the Alley of Martyrs, the guests answered journalists' questions. Speaking about the memories of the immigration life in France, Benjamin Hajibeyli said that he had been in Baku 12 years ago. He noted that Baku has changed and developed. Hajibeyli stressed that our city is very beautiful and modern buildings, historical monuments are remarkable.
Jeyhun Hajibeyli’s daughter in law Pascal Hajibeyli Bushe noted that the trip is very emphatic and she is pleased for the meeting.
Later, the guests were informed on the activities of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, the history of the building of the Committee, and the famous personalities of Azerbaijan during their visit to the Committee.
Jeyhun Hajibeyli's heirs visited Uzeyir Hajibeyov's House Museum during the day and held a meeting at the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs.
The guests arriving in Baku within the framework of the series of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora will be in several historical places and hold meetings in ADA University and other organizations.
