The newspaper of Turkey “Yeni Akit” has published an article highlighting important statements made by the chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov.
The chairman of the State Committee spoke about the activities of the State Committee and emphasized that they act within the statement of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev "there will not be two diasporas of the same nation" and an agreement was signed with the "Presidency For Turks Aboard And Related Communities" for this purpose in the article titled "We reveal the lies of the Armenian lobby". He stressed that the two countries are already exchanging information within the diaspora policy, mutual visits are being implemented, joint programs are being developed, joint action plan was approved for a short period, and relevant agencies of both countries regularly hold several meetings annually.
Chairman of the State Committee spoke about the fight of diaspora organizations against the Armenian lobby and the so-called genocide: “…we are trying to reveal the lies of the Armenian lobby, which is conducted on the so-called genocide “platform” spreading the great Turkish animosity. It is an opportunity for our diaspora that independent Azerbaijan state supports every Azerbaijani abroad in such an important time. ”
He emphasized that, the main goal of the establishment of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora, organizing of Summer and Winter Camps of Diaspora Youth, implementation of the Winter School of Azerbaijan Diaspora Youth in Brussels, Belgium with the participation of young scholars and students in Europe serves to transform the forces in our favor in a time of great conflict and the importance of these projects is immense: “This is not just a step toward entertainment of youth. This is one of the concrete ways of organizing ”.
In a broad article on the work carried out by the State Committee was stressed that, serious work has been done on Azerbaijanis living in Turkey without documents, as a result of occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia. Speaking about the development of the private program, the chairman of the committee said that as soon as possible, there would be great results for the fate of our compatriots living in Turkey and children who cannot get education there.
